Tim Bevan was the managing director of the Bertelsmann-owned Sonopress UK Ltd. Sonopress was a mass manufacturer of CD, DVD and the related printed parts.

This fusion of mass manufacturing and bespoke packaging has been combined to provide quality and innovative packaging that is cost effective and sympathetic to the requirements of today's retail environment.

Three years ago, Modo set out to produce a product that was environmentally friendly. The resulting Act-Pac uses a tray made from potato starch to replace the plastic tray in the digi-style pack.

Modo can do runs from 100 to 1 million units and is successful and well skilled at project management. The bringing together of all the elements for some of the bespoke projects is a logistical nightmare but something that we pride ourselves in managing with the utmost efficiency.
